TProfile appoints Derek Jones as non-executive director
Travel technology company TProfile has appointed Derek Jones to its board as a non-executive director.
Jones, who most recently served as chief executive of Der Touristik UK, parent of brands including Kuoni, will provide TProfile’s senior management team with “a critical added level of strategic support and corporate oversight”, TProfile chief executive Tony Evans said.
Evans added: “As we continue to scale our core services and move to deliver a complete and genuine alternative to old legacy technology, Derek’s well established network and reputation will support our continued significant growth, both in the UK and new territories.”
Jones, who has more than 30 years of leadership experience, was a board director at Tui during the merger of Thomson and First Choice. While with Der Touristik UK, he was managing director of Kuoni.
